Dana Horrell

Meet Dana Horrell, a passionate filmmaker dedicated to exploring the intersection of ethics, politics, and religion through the lens of documentary storytelling. Over the past fifteen years he has produced twenty-three documentary shorts, including Unhoused: A Tale of Two Cities (Released 2024, 26 minutes). Dana is the author of the book, Engage!: Tools for Ministry in the Community (Fortress Press, 2019), which provides tools, twenty-six in all, to help church leaders with practical skills for local outreach ministry. Until 2022 he served in parish ministry as an Elder with the Upper New York Conference of the United Methodist Church.
